PUFANG AND I ARE SORT OF EXPERTS FOR THE BUKIT TIMAH AREA ALREADY.


we went took mrt to toa payoh. and pufang wanted to take the same train as me, so she waited for my train to come. then she was 1 door away from me, so we met and were talking.
braddell came. the door opened, and i moved aside to let people come in.
next stop, toa payoh. i was aware. but pufang and i were too engrossed in our conversation that we missed the stop. FIRST time today we missed the stop. somemore 2 of us actually missed the stop. so we got out of novena. took the marina bay train back. at first we could reach tp at 12.30, but missed, then in the end we reached tp at 12.36.

rushed to take the bus. walked one entire round around tp bus interchange.
finally we found the place where we're supposed to take bus.
then.. I SAW 157!!!
both of us ran like mad. BUT BUT BUT, the bus went away.
fine. SECOND time missing something today

when we were in the bus, i took out the direction paper that si ting took me about.
both of us were looking out for KING ALBERT'S ROAD or SHELLS or COLD STORAGE.
as we were travelling along, pufang found the place more familiar.
we travelled further. then she said she remembered there's a shell there (we passed that place already)
i was like WHAT.
we decided to travel a little further. about 1 to 2 bus stops later.
WE ( people who dont live in that area) concluded that we've passed the king albert's road.
we got off the bus and looked around.
pufang walked towards this board at the bus stop, and it stated all the stops.
FIRST TIME i realised there was such thing. pufang looked as if she knows about the board.

we looked for king albert's road. then pufang pointed to me.
GOSHHHHHHHH. it's 5 bus stops away!!!!!!!!
then she said.. but it''s written as KING ALBERT'S PARK, not ROAD
so we decided to walk a few bus stops and see how.
walked and walked. all the way, it's BUKIT TIMAH ROAD. so long!!!!
oh ya. HWA CHONG INSTITUTION IS SUPER BIG. 3 bus stops!!!
please la!!! our school only like less than 1 bus stop. HAHAHHA. somemore conbine with the primary school.

we were walking along this pavement. then pufang suddenly stopped me and said she thinks this pavement looks long.
i said oh ya. it does.
she said i want to take a picture
i turned back and said. ok picture then we should move back, so it'll look longer
so we this two weirdos, moved back to the front of the pavement, after walking 1/4 of it,
and let pufang take her picture.
HAHAHAHH

continued walking.
i called si yinn because she lives around that area. found out that king albert's road is like REALLY far away. however, we still continued walking. we became more and more tired. decided to take 157. that was after walking about 2 bus stops.
i turned around.
OMG.
157!!!!!!
ran like mad again.
BUT the bus driver didnt see us. and went off.
THIRD time missing something. and it's 157 again...

walked again. pufang said she's going to enter any macdonalds that we'll see
and we did!!!
fifth bus stop, we saw macdonald.
dashed in, and wanted to ask for directions, but in the end, we bought our food and go
pufang bought milo. i bought fries :D
i didnt know it was shaker fries.
and these are the 2 items that motivated us when we went the wrong way.

FINALLY
WE SHALL SHELLS!!!!!
but, i was told to alight AFTER shells
but there's a bus stop RIGHT IN FRONT OF SHELLS.
so we decided. CALL SI TING AGAIN.
found out that we're to stop in front of shells.
crossed the overhead bridge and headed for the BUKIT TIMAH PLAZA
when i'm supposed to look out for "beauty world plaza/centre " or "bukit timah shopping centre". and bukit timah plaza is neither.
CALLED SI TING AGAIN.
found out that we've walked the wrong way.
turned around and headed for the overhead bridge.

walked north
luckily i got take geog.
then we saw... BEAUTY WORLD PLAZA!!!!!!!!

then.... we didnt know where to walk.
hahaa

2 overhead bridge. and we're supposed to cross one.
we couldnt decide which one. so ... CALL SI TING.
talked to her for a long time.
and pufang was tired, she put her bag down and wait for me to finish talking. HAHAH.
in front is the church of singapore.
i'm supposed to walk down.
after that look for KAR YENG.
so we took one of the overhead bridge and walked all the way down
FOR A LONG TIME.
then i think we're lost.
pufang said never mind. walk somemore. looks like it's in front.
i agreed.
walked down.
found doralyln's living place, spring dale!!!
then.. we decided we better....
CALL SI TING.

guess what.
we found out that we're VERY VERY FAR.
we overshot the buit timah entrance.
i was like WHATTTTTTT.
turned back.
and you know walk to where??
BACK TO THE CHURCH .
far far far far far away away away land land land.
no choice. we walked.
feeling more and more tired.
both of us were perpspiring a lot.
FINALLY ,
last few metres to the church.
pufang and i decided to run.
ok i stupidly agreed.
so..
WE RAN.

reached the traffic light, i was panting like i'm an old grandma who just ran.
even the way i talked was funny. HAHAH.
shouldnt have ran.
anyway, we reached bukit timah nature reserve!!!!1
we walked up to the parking lot. found the visitor centre.
at that time, we were like mad people, the hair very messy and all.
in addition, we werent tying our hair. HAHAH.
which made the condition worse.

at the visitor centre, we were blankly walking around.
a few people at the counter..
then we were in dilemma, if we should walk up, or ask those people
then the people were staring at us.
one of them asked :" are you looking for the map?"
we panted a little and said :" YES!"
he said :" COME!"
then we went up.
when he was passing us the map, he looked at us, a little laughing. know why?

BECAUSE
we were in horrendous condition
hair messy
whole hair wet.
both our faces look tired.
a little panting.
looks like we've just climbed the bukit timah nature reserve.
AND YETTTTT,
we came from the entrance o the bukit timah nature reserve.
havent even start climbing. HAHAHH.

we started our journey
WAITTTT.
we went to the toilet first.
UNFORTUNATELY for me, we'll have to walk pass the male's toilet
and you know what happened.....
PUFANG PUSHED ME TOWARDS THE MALE'S TOILET!!!
luckily that time wasnt hard.

we walked along this pavement. SUPER STEEP.
we nearly fell down.
pufang had trouble with her camera.
either too bright.
or it'll be blur.
of course la. she takes photos with her trembling hands. HAHAH.
we took like a long long time to climb up that pavement.

FINALLY.
to the summit.
which doesnt even looks like one. hahaha. just a shelter.
saw some people there, and pufang said they look lke 1 father and 2 children without a home. HAHA.
sat down and started sketching.

my sketch is horrendous.. like kindergarten's drawing.
i dont know how to draw leaves, and tried to copy pufang's leaves, but it turned out to some...
NON leaves.. hahaha.
took like.. 20 mins drawing???
when pufang finished her first sketch, i was still half of it.
when pufang was on her second sketch, i havent even completed my first sketch.
haha

finally we could climb down. it was getting darker.
and puafng was still having troubles with her camera. hahahhah.

walked down. quite quickly.
when we got down, we were perspirin lots.
now it looks like as if we're starting to climb the nature reserve.

OH YA!!!!!!
when we were walking down, i saw this woman not wearing her slippers, then the guy beside her was holding her slippers.
i said :" aye. how come the maid not wearing slippers ?"
pufang said :" dont know. maybe the man took her slippers so she wont run away."
i said :" HAHA. no la. i think maybe because ... the slippers are... "
pufang and i said togeher :" BROKEN!"
hahah
then we continued walking

suddenly, the man and the maid was holding hands!!!!
i said :" pufang!!! look they're holding hands!!!!"
pufang said :"oh. but how you know it's the maid?"
i said :"looks like the maid!!! later you go see!!! really!! i saw the face!"
pufang said :" ok later i go see! "
i said :"maybe you should try her to look back. maybe you should scream or shout."
pufang said :" ok. ARRRGGHHHHH. "
i was shocked.. hahahaha.
and.... the man turned back
not the maid. hai ya.
pufang said :" ok i go see. "
she ran down.
i chased after her.
she tried turning back to look at her .. hahaha.
then she agreed with me that it looks like the maid.
i said :" see!!! maybe they're having an affair at bukit timah nature reserve ."
pufang said :"HAHHAHAHAHAHAHA. affair????"
fine. she doesnt think that way. HAHAHAH.

anyway, we saw many monkeys. scary...
my mum is scared.
we went toilet again.
again we'll have to pass the male toilet.
PUFANG PUSHED ME HARDER THIS TIME.
but she failed because i regained balance.
then. SHE PUSHED AGAIN. EVEN HARDER.
i nearly fell.
at that time, a man was coming out of the toilet...
HAHAHAHAH. STUPID PUFANG!!!

we went to take 825 after that.
to yio chu kang :D
wait quite long. concluded that we missed the bus. FOURTH time missing something.
found out that we have to take a 30 bus stop ride!!!!!!
i had headache in the bus... how sad.
finally we got off.
pufang said she missed her bus.
i said.. ohhh. then that's your FIIFTH time missing something.
then as we crossed the road, she saw her bus!!! she ran!!! HAHAHAH.
didnt miss. hahah. so i said bye.
went for my train to somewhere. needed to buy CHERYL LEE'S PRESENT.
i saw. MARINA BAY. 1 MIN.
i ran
just in time :D
didnt miss.. HAHAH.

reached somewhere where people are all going home, and i'm going there. HAHAH.
i rushed to the shop, and quickly selected one and left. :D
ran for jurong east's train.
took all the way back to sembawang.
ran to the ntuc.
bought some stuffs.
ran all the way to popular.
was choosing some pens. then i was thinking if i should buy refill.
at semb, the refills are kept in the office, so if you want must go the staffs and ask for it.
i decided to buy. so i asked.
while waiting, i was thinking.. i'm not in a rush to get the refills, and i have no popluar card today, so i shouldnt buy.
but i asked the lady already. and she's at her office taking the refills.

she came out. i said thanks. and started at the refills. thinking really hard if i should buy. or give the lady back. but she took a long way to go back.
then i did something.

i dropped 1 of the refills on this box. then i pretended to kneel down and look at the markers, in the meanwhile, leave the refills on the shelves. then later pretend to forget to take them. HAHAHHA.

immediately, i ran home. walked pretty fast. after i reached home, i was super tired. ate my dinner hungrily. and WAS...
RUSHING MY HOMEWORK. HAHAHHAHA.
